CARE Corfu was officially
launched in Spring 2003, three years after Carole Langton who is now the President of CARE started a rescue shelter for homeless dogs and puppies. Corfu was overrun with abandoned, stray and starving animals and something urgently had to be done.
The chief
objective of CARE is to provide a safe and secure sanctuary
for all the local stray and unwanted dogs, puppies and cats on the Island.
The next priority is to find suitable homes for
the various animals, both in Greece and overseas.
To date CARE has re-homed over 4000 dogs and puppies.
We aim to make a difference.
We have already changed the lives of thousands of animals. With CARE and YOUR HELP they have the chance of hope and happiness
and to be with people who love them.
CARE is now in financial crisis due to the World recession so please see the News Page on how you can help. Without your urgent financial suport, we have to close.
